Delhi Metro: Central Secretariat-Mandi House line open.
With an aim to ease the congestion at Delhi's Rajiv Chowk Metro station, a 3.23-km-long metro section from Central Secretariat to Mandi House station was opened for public on 26th June 2014.

Minister of Urban Development M. Venkaiah Naidu flagged off the train from Mandi House.

This section, which is the first section of Phase 3, has been completed in two-and-half years. Approximately 70,000 new passengers are expected to use the station by 2016.

Trains on this section will run at a frequency of 3.5 minutes.
