Essar Projects completes projects worth Rs. 2,862 cr in FY 17.
Essar Projects India Ltd. (EPIL), a leading engineering procurement and construction (EPC) company, has completed and commissioned 10 projects worth Rs. 2,862 crore in the financial year 2016-17.

Some of these projects are of national importance and make significant contribution to India’s infrastructure growth. The company has posted revenues of about Rs. 2,000 crore in FY17, according to a press release recently.

EPIL has executed critical activities in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd’s 15 MMTPA Paradip Refinery project, the Saurashtra Narmada Avtaran Irrigation (SAUNI) pipeline project, as well as the Kaladan Multimodal Transport Project in Myanmar.

The other projects are in sectors as diverse as steel, oil and Gas and fertilisers, with a footprint spanning India and neighbouring countries.

“With an order book of almost Rs. 8,000 crore, we are confident of even better performance in FY18,” said AV Amarnath, Chief Operating Officer.

The four-decade-old EPIL offers a collaborative, end-to-end project delivery model, which is backward integrated into the supply chain and forward integrated into customer needs.
