BHEL Wins Major ₹1,000 Cr Contract from Hindalco Industries.

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) recently said it has secured an order worth between ₹1,200 crore and ₹1,500 crore from Hindalco Industries.

The company said it has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Aditya Aluminium, a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries, for the project.

The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacture and supply of equipment up to the project site, along with unloading, storage, erection, commissioning and performance guarantee testing for a 2x150 megawatt boiler, turbine and generator (BTG) package. The contract excludes civil works.
