EIL and Dangote signs contract for refinery cum petrochemical plant in Nigeria.

Engineers India Limited formally entered into a contract with Dangote Oil Refining Company of Nigeria, to undertake project management consultancy and engineering, procurement and construction work for a 40 barrel per day petroleum refinery and 600,000 tonne per annum polypropylene plant.

The company said in a statement that the contract worth USD 139 million was signed on June 2nd for the plants to come up in the Lekki Free Trade Zone near Lagos, Nigeria. This will be the largest every single consultancy assigned for EIL.
