Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd (HCCB), the bottling arm of the global beverage giant Coca-Cola, has announced a significant investment of ₹350 crore in Madhya Pradesh. The announcement came during a meeting between the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, and a senior-level delegation of HCCB at the Regional Industry Conclave held in Ujjain.
This latest investment brings the company's total investments in the state to over ₹660 crore. The capital infusion will facilitate the establishment of two new cutting-edge manufacturing lines at HCCB's factory in Rajgarh. These new lines will focus on producing Affordable Small Sparkling Packs (ASSP) and Juice Tetra Packs, aiming to enhance the company's manufacturing capabilities while making a substantial contribution to the state's economy.
In a statement, HCCB emphasized its commitment to continuously improving production capabilities and supporting the local economy. The company highlighted its extensive distribution network, consisting of 149 distributors and serving 1,27,080 retailers across 29 districts in Madhya Pradesh. Annually, HCCB sells approximately 10 million cases in the state, underscoring its pivotal role in the local commerce landscape.
Furthermore, the statement mentioned the assurance of comprehensive support from the Madhya Pradesh government. The government has pledged to assist HCCB in obtaining all necessary permissions, approvals, and clearances promptly, aligning with the state's policies and regulations.
