Indian Railways signs MoU with SNCF for cooperation in railway projects

Indian Railways and the Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Français (SNCF) signs a a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the following railways works as folllows:

High speed and semi-high speed rail, Station renovation and operations, Modernisation of current operations and infrastructure, Suburban trains.

The MoU also includes development of feasibility project on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail. This project will be funded by SNCF with a support from the French Ministry of Finance
