Indore-Bhopal Metro rail project gets nod

The MP govt gave the nod for the metro rail projects in Indore and Bhopal cities, on Monday. The metro in Indore will run on a 30 km rail track.

The project will have a 30 km long metro track with three routes; MR10 to Ring Road via Palasia, Niranjanpura to Bypass and Shuklia to Rajendra Nagar.

However, the project will get the final nod of the state govt on Dec 20 after a meeting with DMRC chief E Sridharan. Sridharan will produce reports of metro services of the two cities before the chief minister. Thereafter, the state govt would prepare a detailed project report (DPR).
