InterGlobe and CAE to Open Pilot Training Centre in Mumbai.

InterGlobe Enterprises and its joint venture partner, Canadian flight simulation firm CAE, announced plans on Tuesday to establish a new pilot training center in Mumbai. The move is aimed at capitalizing on the booming domestic aviation sector and meeting the rising demand for qualified cockpit crew in India.

The new facility, located in the financial capital, will span 44,000 square feet and have the capacity to house up to six full-flight simulators (FFS). The center is scheduled to begin operations in the first quarter of 2026 with an initial two Airbus A320 FFS.

This expansion adds to the joint venture's existing network of three commercial aviation training centers, which are located in Greater Noida, Gurugram, and Bengaluru. Collectively, these facilities have a capacity for up to 23 FFS, making them a significant provider of pilot training in the region.
