"Malabar Gold & Diamonds Sets Ambitious Goal: 10 New Stores by March, Eyes 350 Global Outlets"

In line with its strategic global expansion, renowned jewellery retailer Malabar Gold & Diamonds is embarking on a journey to unveil 10 new stores, aiming to achieve a total of 350 outlets worldwide by March. Currently recognized as the sixth-largest jewellery group globally and the 19th in Deloitte’s Luxury Goods global ranking, Malabar is poised for significant growth.

The forthcoming store openings in India are strategically located in key regions such as Latur, Satara, and Nagpur in Maharashtra; Kolar and Whitefield in Karnataka; Jaipur in Rajasthan; Chandni Chowk in Delhi; Vanasthalipuram in Andhra Pradesh; Patiala in Punjab, and Puducherry. Notably, this marks Malabar Gold & Diamonds' inaugural entry into Rajasthan and Puducherry, solidifying the brand's footprint in these states. The remaining eight stores will bolster the brand's presence in states where it already holds a strong market position.

MP Ahammed, Chairman of Malabar Group, expressed enthusiasm about the brand's progress on the global stage, emphasizing their commitment to the 'Make in India, Market to the World' concept. Ahammed stated, "With each new store opening, we are moving closer to our goal of becoming the world’s number one jewellery and luxury brand."

Beyond domestic expansion, Malabar Gold & Diamonds is also pursuing international growth, with plans to inaugurate new stores in countries such as New Zealand, Egypt, Turkey, and South Africa, alongside its existing operations. The Malabar Group, currently employing approximately 22,000 individuals from diverse backgrounds, aims to bolster its workforce to one lakh within the next three years, underscoring its commitment to sustained growth and global prominence.
