"Railway Officials: Three New Vendors in the Pipeline for Kavach, Additional Tenders Planned for Next Year"

Indian Railways is on the verge of securing three new vendors for its domestically developed automatic train protection system, Kavach, according to a senior official. Among the vendors in the final stages of approval are GGtronics and Siemens, expanding the roster beyond the current providers, Medha, Kernex, and HBL Power Systems.

The official revealed, "One vendor, GGtronics, has been finalized, and the approval process for the remaining two is underway. Approvals are expected to be granted in the coming weeks." This development marks a strategic move by Indian Railways to enhance the implementation and coverage of the Kavach system, a crucial component in ensuring the safety and efficiency of train operations.
