Hero MotoCorp Set to Boost Stake in Euler Motors as EV Firm Expands Capacity.
Two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp is set to increase its investment in electric commercial vehicle maker Euler Motors with an additional ₹275 crore, raising its stake in the start-up from 34.1 per cent to around 36 per cent on a fully diluted basis.
The fresh investment comes as demand for electric cargo vehicles gains momentum in India’s last-mile logistics and urban freight segments, encouraging Euler Motors to accelerate its manufacturing expansion and product development efforts.
As part of its growth plans, Euler Motors has outlined a capital expenditure programme of ₹300–400 crore over the next 18–24 months. The planned investment will be used to expand production facilities and strengthen the company’s electric commercial vehicle portfolio.
The move underscores Hero MotoCorp’s continued push to deepen its presence in the fast-growing electric mobility ecosystem, particularly in the commercial EV segment catering to logistics and urban delivery operations.
