Akshayakalpa Organic Expands into Protein Milk Segment, Scales Up Hyderabad Facility.

Akshayakalpa Organic has forayed into the fast-growing protein milk segment, joining a wave of new product launches in the high-protein foods category. The move comes amid increasing competition, with Amul recently introducing a range of protein-based products, including buttermilk, lassi, shakes, and chocolates, while Nandini entered the space last year with its protein-enriched idli and dosa batter.

The Bengaluru-based organic dairy brand reported monthly sales of ₹50 crore in the first quarter of FY26 and is aiming to achieve a revenue milestone of ₹550–600 crore by the end of the fiscal year.

Akshayakalpa expects significant growth from its key southern markets - Chennai and Hyderabad — where it currently records monthly sales of ₹7 crore and ₹4 crore, respectively. The company has also ramped up capacity at its Hyderabad facility to meet rising demand for its new protein milk offerings.
