Bajaj Auto Signs Agreement with Sastra for BEST Centre Phase 2.

Bajaj Auto Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sastra Deemed University to launch Phase 2 of the Bajaj Engineering Skill Training (BEST) Centre initiative.

Building on the success of Phase 1, which trained over 150 students in advanced manufacturing techniques, the second phase will focus on specialized training in electronics manufacturing, firmware development, systems validation, and e-mobility. The program aims to train more than 500 engineering and diploma graduates, with a special emphasis on candidates from tier 2 and tier 3 cities across India.

The MoU was signed in New Delhi by Sudhakar Gudipati, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility at Bajaj Auto, and S. Vaidhyasubramaniam, Vice-Chancellor of Sastra University, in the presence of AICTE Chairman T. G. Sitharam.

The initiative seeks to enhance skill development in emerging sectors, contributing to the growth of India’s manufacturing and e-mobility industries.
