Belrise Industries Secures Significant EV Orders from Tata Motors and M&M

Belrise Industries, a prominent auto component manufacturer, has clinched substantial orders in the electric vehicle (EV) domain from Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra.

The company has been designated as the sole-source supplier for Chassis Frames for Tata Ace Electric Vehicle models. These frames are produced at Belrise Industries' facility in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, conveniently located within a 3 km radius of Tata Motors' Light Commercial Vehicle assembly plant.

Belrise Industries has already supplied over 5,000 Chassis frames to Tata Motors for its Ace EV models until December last year. With high demand from Tata Motors, the production of these chassis frames is steadily increasing on a weekly basis.

Additionally, Belrise Industries will be supplying over 20 components for Mahindra & Mahindra's upcoming EV models, which are currently in the development stage. Commercial production supply is slated to commence in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2024-25.

As a single-source supplier for EV models of both auto giants, Belrise Industries' sales growth strategy will be closely linked to the anticipated sales performance of Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Tata Motors currently holds the top position in the EV market for both four-wheelers and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), with Mahindra & Mahindra following closely behind.

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has ambitious plans to invest $2 billion in the EV sector. The company aims to become a global player, aligning with its commitment to achieve net zero emissions by 2039 for Jaguar Land Rover, 2040 for passenger vehicles, and 2045 for commercial vehicles.

Belrise Industries is a preferred vendor for leading domestic and global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the automotive industry. It counts companies like Bajaj Auto, Honda Motorcycles and Scooters, Hero MotoCorp, Royal Enfield, TVS, Jaguar Land Rover, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, and LG Electronics among its clientele. The company also exports its products to various regions including the United States, Europe, and Asia.
