Gensol Engineering Wins ₹897 Crore Solar Project Contract from NTPC REL.

Gensol Engineering has secured a significant ₹897 crore contract from NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) for the development of 225 MW grid-connected solar projects.

The project will be executed on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis at the GSECL Solar Park (Stage-III), located in Khavda, Gujarat, within the Rann of Kutch.

This contract covers the development of solar projects with a total capacity of 225 MW AC (alternating current), which is equivalent to 276 MW DC (direct current). The total value of the contract, including operations and maintenance (O&M) for three years, amounts to approximately ₹897.47 crore, inclusive of taxes and duties. The agreement between NTPC REL and Gensol Engineering was formalized last week.
