Godrej Aerospace Secures Contract with Pratt & Whitney for Complex Aircraft Engine Parts.

Godrej Aerospace, a division of the Godrej Enterprises Group, has announced the signing of a significant manufacturing contract with Pratt & Whitney, a subsidiary of RTX. The agreement entails Godrej producing complex aerospace components destined for use in various aircraft engine applications.

This new contract is anticipated to substantially expand Godrej's technological and production capabilities within the aerospace sector. The company stated that this aligns with its overarching strategy to establish itself as a vital supplier to global aircraft engine manufacturers.

Maneck Behramkamdin, Business Head of the Aerospace business at Godrej Enterprises Group, emphasized the broader implications of the collaboration. "This contract with Pratt & Whitney is not just a business milestone – it is a testament to India’s rising capabilities in complex aerospace manufacturing," he said. "By leveraging our advanced infrastructure, deep expertise, and commitment to global quality standards, we are proud to play a role in shaping the future of aviation manufacturing in India."

Expanding Manufacturing Footprint

Godrej currently operates approximately 35,000 square meters of aerospace manufacturing capacity in India, with an additional 48,500 square meters actively under development. The company stated that this expansion directly supports its long-term objective of enhancing India's position in global manufacturing, especially within high-precision engineering and critical aerospace supply chains.
