Jay Wood Industry Eyes Southern Growth with Two New Manufacturing Facilities by 2029.

Jay Wood Industry, a prominent Indian manufacturer of wooden pallets and boxes, is set to expand its national footprint with plans to establish two new manufacturing units in South India over the next three to five years. This strategic move aims to enhance efficiency and better serve its growing customer base in the region.

Deepak Shah, MD and CEO of Jay Wood Industry, stated that the company's expansion into South India is a key part of its scaling strategy for the coming years. "We plan to scale up in the next 3-5 years, and the plants in South India are aimed at getting closer to its customers and meeting growing demand more efficiently," Shah told businessline in an online interaction.

In addition to geographical expansion, Jay Wood Industry is also focusing on backward integration by developing in-house plank manufacturing capabilities. This initiative, according to Shah, will provide the company with "better control over quality and costs - something that’s become increasingly important as we grow." This integrated approach is expected to streamline operations and bolster the company's competitive edge in the market.
