Maharashtra proposes MBIC

Maharashtra state government has proposed development of Mumbai Bangalore Industrial Corridor (MBIC) on the lines of Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor. The project, to be developed on a PPP basis, will attract major investment from private sector while the state government will contribute to make the project viable.
