Navi Mumbai, Jewar Airports to Propel Growth in India’s Aviation Sector: Minister.

The upcoming mega airport projects at Navi Mumbai and Jewar (Noida International Airport) are expected to significantly enhance connectivity and drive growth in India’s aviation sector, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said.

In an interview with BusinessLine, Naidu highlighted that the Navi Mumbai Airport, followed by Jewar Airport, will usher in a new growth phase for India’s aviation industry. These airports will serve megacities more efficiently, supporting increased passenger and cargo traffic.

“Mumbai will become the first megacity in India to operate on a twin-airport model,” the minister said, emphasizing the strategic importance of these projects in expanding infrastructure and capacity to meet rising demand.
