NTPC Announces COD for 57 MW Capacity of Anta Solar PV Project

Following successful commissioning and receipt of due approvals, NTPC has declared the first part capacity of 57 MW out of the 90 MW Anta Solar PV Project in Anta, Rajasthan, as commercially operational, effective from 00:00 hours on April 26, 2024.

This milestone marks a significant step in NTPC's commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio. With this addition, the total installed and commercial capacity for NTPC on a standalone basis has reached 59,135 MW, while the group capacity has risen to 76,015 MW.

The Anta Solar PV Project is a key component of NTPC's broader strategy to increase its share of renewable energy in its overall energy mix.
