PM Modi inaugurates much-awaited Bengaluru Metro Yellow Line.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday called for Karnataka to intensify its focus on emerging fields, urging the state to strengthen its position in the 'Make in India' and manufacturing sectors. Speaking at an event, the Prime Minister emphasized that Indian products must meet a 'Zero Defect, Zero Effect' standard, ensuring flawless quality with no negative environmental impact.
Expressing confidence in the state's talent pool, he said, "Karnataka's talent will lead the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India)."
Modi also connected the state's potential to the larger national goal of a 'Vikasit Bharat' (Developed India), highlighting the crucial role of Digital India in this journey. He pointed to initiatives like the India AI Mission as evidence of the country's rapid progress toward global leadership in Artificial Intelligence.
"India is moving to assume the role of global leadership in the domain of Artificial Intelligence," he said. The Prime Minister added that the Semiconductor Mission is also gaining momentum, confidently stating, "India will soon get Made in India chips."
