Popular Vehicles & Services Subsidiary Receives LOI to Set Up Ather Facilities in Chennai.

Kuttukaran Cars Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Popular Vehicles & Services Limited, a prominent integrated automotive dealership, has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) to set up Ather Energy facilities in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This marks a strategic expansion for Popular Vehicles & Services into the burgeoning electric two-wheeler market.

The new Ather operations will be divided across two locations in Chennai. One facility will host the Experience Centre, providing customers with an immersive brand experience. The other location will house the Service Centre and a dedicated warehouse. The service center will initially feature five bays, capable of servicing approximately 450 vehicles per month. Operations for these new facilities are anticipated to commence by the first week of September 2025, with a total investment estimated at around ₹75 lakhs.
