RattanIndia Apna Solar bags deal for 5 MW grid connected rooftop solar project in Madhya Pradesh.

RattanIndia Apna Solar recently announced signing of power purchase agreement and project implementation agreement with Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Ltd. in Bhopal to develop 5 MW grid connected rooftop solar power project in the state.

The company, part of the RattanIndia Group, won the order through competitive bidding. This is one of the first rooftop solar projects tendered in the country and more such projects are likely to come up soon. The project will be executed on about 75 public buildings in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.
