Road Project behind schedule: HDC

Male: Hulhumale’ Development Corporation (HDC) has revealed that the development of roads in Hulhumale’ is one month behind schedule.

HDC revealed that the delay in the road project is due the unforeseen delay in the registration procedures of the equipment.

HDC also revealed all necessary machinery and personnel were onsite for the commencement of the project by the 25 of last month and that currently registration process of the equipment is going.

HDC informs that the project due to be completed by the end of September 2008, has already completed 0.5 %. HDC also informs the project should have completed 1% by now.

HDC is currently pursuing a 504 housing unit’s project which is planned to be completed by the end of next year.
