"Shakti Hörmann Inaugurates ₹175-cr Door Manufacturing Facility in Jaipur"

Shakti Hörmann, a leading manufacturer of industrial, commercial, and residential doors, has inaugurated a sprawling 2.50 lakh sq ft manufacturing facility in Mahindra World City, Jaipur. The company has invested ₹175 crore in the development of this state-of-the-art facility, geared to churn out 1.50 lakh engineered wooden doors.

The commencement of operations marks the first phase, featuring a specialized production line dedicated to manufacturing a new range of engineered wooden doors, which began this month. The second phase, slated to commence in October 2024, will see the addition of production lines for hollow metal doors, followed by aluminum doors.

The expansion aims to cater to a diverse array of markets, including residential properties, industrial complexes, commercial establishments, public buildings, institutions, hotels, hospitals, and airports.

Shashidar Reddy, Managing Director of Shakti Hörmann, expressed the company's commitment to serving the domestic market while exploring export opportunities in neighboring countries, particularly in the Gulf region.

Shakti Hörmann's existing facility near Hyderabad already manufactures over two lakh custom-made doors and door frames, in addition to producing over 10,000 industrial doors annually.

The price range of residential doors spans from ₹10,000 to ₹2.5 lakh, while commercial doors are priced between ₹15,000 and ₹6 lakhs. With an annual sales volume exceeding 1.10 lakh doors, the company boasts a revenue of ₹270 crore.
