TechnoSport's Aggressive Expansion Continues: New Chennai Store Puts Brand on Track for 50-Store Goal.

TechnoSport, a leading activewear company based in Tirupur, has opened a new Exclusive Brand Outlet (EBO) in Chennai, marking a key step in its aggressive retail expansion strategy. The company aims to have 50 EBOs across India by the end of the year, a significant jump from its current 15 outlets.

The Chennai store is TechnoSport’s fourth in Tamil Nadu, joining existing locations in Tirupur, Coimbatore, and Salem. The company has ambitious plans to launch 10 to 15 more stores in the state over the next few years, with new outlets scheduled for Madurai, Trichy, Vellore, Karur, and Hosur.

According to TechnoSport CEO Puspen Maity, Chennai is a strategic market for the brand due to its diverse culture and young demographic. In a statement to businessline, Maity highlighted the store's beachside location, noting it "adds a lot of value in terms of the branding and marketing activity perspective."
