UP Partners With BVG India to Boost Eco-Tourism Near Dudhwa.

Uttar Pradesh has partnered with Pune-based BVG India to develop a new eco-tourism destination near Dudhwa National Park. The project, located at Chandan Chowki in Lakhimpur Kheri district, is being implemented under a public–private partnership with the Uttar Pradesh Eco Tourism Development Board.

As part of the initiative, BVG India is developing the BVG India Resort, which is slated to be fully operational by March 2026. Spread over five acres, the eco-friendly resort will serve as the centerpiece of the Chandan Chowki eco-tourism project, positioning the area as a nature-focused destination that highlights wellness and local culture.

Designed with environmentally sensitive, low-impact development in mind, the resort will blend seamlessly into its forest surroundings while offering modern hospitality amenities. Facilities will include multiple accommodation options, recreational activities, food and beverage services, and spaces for small conferences and social gatherings, catering to leisure travellers, wildlife enthusiasts, families, and corporate groups.

The project reflects Uttar Pradesh’s push to promote sustainable tourism while leveraging the region’s natural and cultural assets.
