Va Tech Wabag JV bags Rs.262 Crore order from Nepal

Va Tech Wabag in a joint venture with Pratibha Industries has bagged Rs 262 crore order from Melamchi Water Supply Development Board, Nepal.

The scope of the work comprises construction of water treatment plant at Sundarijal, Nepal with an initial capacity of 85MLD.

The plant would be designed to expand to 170MLD and later to 510MLD, it said.

The project funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency would treat water from the Melamchi river and discharge the treated water through pipeline upto battery limits.
