ACME Sun Power Announces Commissioning of BESS Project Capacity.

ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power Private Limited, has commissioned a 33.333 MW/160.484 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Rajasthan.

The project is located at Village Badi Sid in Tehsil Bap, Phalodi and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan, and was commissioned on May 11, 2026. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the facility is scheduled for May 13, 2026.

With this latest addition, ACME Sun Power Private Limited’s total commissioned BESS capacity has reached 233.336 MW / 1123.424 MWh, marking a significant expansion in its energy storage portfolio.

The commissioning underscores the company’s continued focus on scaling up battery storage infrastructure to support renewable energy integration and grid stability in India’s power sector.
