"Adani Green Energy Shares Surge as Khavda Renewable Park Becomes Operational"

Adani Green Energy Limited witnessed a 0.26 percent surge in its shares following the successful operationalization of 1,000 MW of solar energy capacity at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park located in Gujarat.

The company announced that the Khavda Renewable Energy Park aims to develop an impressive 30 GW of renewable energy capacity over the next five years, spanning across 538 square kilometers of land. The recently operationalized capacity, comprising approximately 2.4 million solar modules, is projected to generate an estimated 81 billion units of electricity annually. This energy output is expected to power approximately 16 million homes across India.

Furthermore, the project is anticipated to generate over 15,200 green jobs, thus contributing significantly to local employment opportunities. As part of its sustainable practices, waterless cleaning robots have been deployed across the solar capacity to enhance energy output while conserving water resources in the arid Kutch region.
