Adani Group to add 5 GW green energy a year for next decade, says chairman.

Promising to make significant investments in sustainable and renewable energy, the Adani group said it has managed to beat its own target of 25 Gigawatts power generation four years ahead of schedule, due to the acquisition of Softbank-owned SB Energy this year.

In a letter to Adani Enterprises shareholders, Group chairman Gautam Adani said the group is aligning with India's goal of becoming world's biggest renewable player and has set the goal to be the world’s largest solar power producer for itself.
