Aerpace Industries Teams Up with Cavok Engineering for Major Drone Development

Aerpace Industries Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Cavok Engineering to advance its aerWing project, a large drone designed to carry a 1.5-ton payload. This collaboration will harness Cavok’s extensive expertise in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and urban air mobility (UAM) technologies to enhance Aerpace’s aerial transportation capabilities.

Under the terms of the agreement, Cavok Engineering will provide support for the preliminary study and conceptual design of the aerWing. This includes preparing a Marketing Requirements & Objectives (MRO) document, compiling essential documentation, and offering technical recommendations for the conceptual design phase.

Cavok Engineering brings valuable experience from 14 UAM & UAV certification projects and 8 manned aircraft homologation projects. Led by Florin Filipescu and Sebastien Lefebvre, Cavok’s team will contribute advanced tools and methodologies to the development process.

Aerpace Industries envisions the aerWing as a pivotal element of its Aerpace ecosystem, with potential applications spanning cargo transport, aerTaxi, aerAmbulance, and aerCargo services. The company has pledged to keep shareholders updated as the project progresses through conceptual design, prototype development, and certification phases.
