All GAIL offices to move to its 22-storey building at Noida.
GAIL India Ltd., the nation's largest gas transmission firm, is moving into a swanky 22- storey building, where all its offices will be housed under one-roof.
Oil Secretary Saurabh Chandra recently inaugurated the new office building GAIL Jubilee Tower at Noida, just outside the national capital, the company said in a statement.
The 22-storey GAIL Jubilee Tower, which has been dream project of company Chairman and Managing Director B C Tripathi, is 118 metres tall, more than one-and-half times the height of the Qutub Minar (73 metres). It is one of the tallest buildings in the national capital region and is equipped with high-speed lifts.
'The Jubilee Tower has been designed as per LEED-Platinum Green Building norms,' the statement said.
The building has its own captive power generation plant using gas engine generators and the waste heat recovered is used to run the Air Conditioning system. A 30 KW solar power plant has been installed for area lighting.
