Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy Holds Crucial Meetings with Adani and Amara Raja to Boost Investment and Development
In a series of high-profile discussions, Telangana's newly appointed Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, engaged with top executives from leading corporate entities, including Karan Gautam Adani, CEO of Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd, and Jayadev Galla, Chairman and Managing Director of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility. The meetings focused on reviewing ongoing projects and exploring future collaborations.
During the discussions, Adani expressed the group's readiness to invest in Telangana, emphasizing their commitment to ongoing projects in the state. Adani Aerospace CEO Ashish Rajvanshi accompanied Adani in pledging support for existing initiatives while seeking government backing for proposed projects.
Chief Minister Reddy assured the corporate leaders of the state government's dedication to providing the necessary infrastructure and incentives to foster industrial development, generate employment, and facilitate the establishment of new units. Adani, in turn, reaffirmed the continuation of the group's ongoing projects in Telangana and sought government support for upcoming ventures.
The Chief Minister welcomed Adani's investment plans and engaged in discussions about the group's proposals, including the establishment of an aerospace park and data center. With Jayadev Galla, the discussions centered around Amara Raja's Giga Corridor project in Mahabubnagar, with a focus on further investments in various sectors, such as new energy, lithium-ion batteries, and food processing.
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (ARE&M), known as one of India’s leading energy storage and mobility enterprises, reiterated its commitment to Telangana's growth story. Galla highlighted the company's expansion plans, including the Giga Corridor project, featuring one of India’s largest lithium-ion Giga factories and an R&D hub with a significant capital investment of ₹9,500 crore.
Chief Minister Reddy expressed support for Amara Raja's endeavors, emphasizing the company's role as a key partner in Telangana's growth. He pledged necessary assistance for the operationalization of upcoming projects, emphasizing the state's commitment to clean energy and advanced storage technologies.
Galla expressed optimism about Amara Raja's exponential growth, urging continued government support to position Telangana as a major player in the evolving electric vehicle and new energy sector.
