"Andhra Pradesh Government Unveils ₹1,110 Crore Industrial Units Initiative"

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of food processing and industrial units collectively valued at ₹1,100 crore in the state. These initiatives, unveiled by the Chief Minister, are poised to create employment opportunities for 21,744 individuals.

Addressing the gathering virtually from his office in Amaravati, Chief Minister Reddy highlighted that the Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) inked during the Global Investors Summit earlier this year were now materializing into tangible projects. Emphasizing the government's dedicated focus on the industrial sector, he urged officials to maintain their support and collaboration with investors.

In particular, Chief Minister Reddy urged district collectors to actively assist investors and entrepreneurs, providing them with the necessary cooperation at every stage of their endeavors. Among the notable projects inaugurated, the Chief Minister launched a 4.2 lakh metric ton capacity edible oil refinery, established by Gokul Agro Resources Pvt Ltd at Doruvula Palem in Muthukuru Mandalam of SPS Nellore district. This venture, with an investment of ₹250 crore, is expected to generate employment for 1,150 individuals.

Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated a ₹2.5 crore sesame seeds processing unit established by APFPS at Peddiredlapalem of L. Kota Mandalam in Vizianagaram district. Operated by the L. Kota Jai Kisan Farmers’ Producers Organization, this unit will provide employment for 20 individuals.

Other initiatives include the launch of common facility centers at the printing cluster in Kakinada industrial estate, established by the Industries Department with an investment of ₹15 crore and an employment potential for 1,000 individuals.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Reddy launched 21 industrial development projects and factory complexes established across 18 districts by the Industries Department. With an investment of ₹286 crore, these projects have the potential to attract ₹1,785 crore in investments and provide employment for 18,034 individuals.

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for a ₹144 crore maize-based food processing unit by Sri Venkateswara Bio Tech Pvt Ltd at Kommuru in Eluru district, with an employment potential for 310 persons. Additionally, the foundation stone was laid for the ₹13 crore Blue Fin Enterprises food products unit at Konada in Vizianagaram district.
