Anthill Ventures will mentor 15 start-ups to develop tech solutions.

Anthill Ventures, an investment firm that helps start-ups scale up their operations, has shortlisted 15 start-ups for its market access programme called A-Scale.

The shortlisted start-ups were selected from a pool of 300 applications, from those working in health tech, media tech, and urban tech areas.

The selected start-ups are from India, the US, Israel and Singapore.

The six-month programme provides mentorship on business model refinement and go-to-market strategies. It will help each of the start-ups to raise funding of up to $1 million and an additional syndicated $20-million smart capital via Anthill’s co-investors network. The start-ups are focussed on building new technologies-based solutions across healthcare, smart cities, and media tech, among others. They are developing solutions using augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), visual effects (VFX), cloud rendering, artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), and big data.

The list of start-ups selected for the Singapore programme includes Vuulr (a blockchain-enabled and online global content platform), TrakitNow (an IoT-driven venture focusing on public health), and KroniKare, an AI-based specialised system for assessment and management of chronic wounds.
