.Arham Ispat Proposes New 4.62 Lakh TPA Steel Melting and 3.50 Lakh TPA Rolling Mill Complex in Chhattisgarh

Bemetara, Chhattisgarh: Arham Ispat Private Limited has proposed establishing a new steel melting shop and rolling mill complex at Neonara village, Bhimbhauri tehsil, in Bemetara district, Chhattisgarh, as part of its planned integrated steel manufacturing project.

The proposed development will include a steel melting shop with an annual production capacity of 4,62,000 tonnes and a rolling mill capable of producing 3,50,000 tonnes of finished steel products annually. These facilities will support the company's plans to develop an integrated manufacturing operation serving India's growing infrastructure and construction sectors.

The steel melting shop will enable the production of intermediate steel products, while the rolling mill will facilitate further processing into value-added steel materials.

The broader integrated steel project also envisages a 6,27,000 TPA sponge iron plant, a 70 MW captive power facility, ferroalloy manufacturing and downstream steel processing units.

The proposed development is expected to strengthen Chhattisgarh's steel manufacturing ecosystem, improve industrial integration and create opportunities for equipment suppliers and engineering contractors.

Currently at the conceptual and planning stage, the project is seeking environmental clearance from regulatory authorities.

The project-specific investment, construction schedule, contractor appointments and anticipated commissioning date have not been disclosed.
