BEML's renewable energy plan.

BEML, a defence PSU, has set a goal of utilising 100 per cent renewable energy for its consumption. In this endeavour, the company has inaugurated a 200-KW grid connected rooftop solar project at its Mysuru complex. The project was inaugurated by Deepak Kumar Hota, Chairman & Managing Director, in the presence of BR Viswanatha, Director-Mining & Construction. With the installation and commissioning of the rooftop solar project, BEML is inching towards achieving the target of using 100 per cent renewable energy for captive consumption.

HBL
