BHEL Secures LOA for EPC Package in NLC Talabira Thermal Power Project

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has achieved a significant milestone by receiving a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) dated January 12, 2024, for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) package concerning the 3x800 MW NLC Talabira Thermal Power Project (NTTPP) in Jharsuguda District, Odisha, India. The LOA has been awarded by NLC India Limited.

The order, valued at over Rs. 15,000 Crores, excluding taxes and duties, underscores BHEL's prominent role in the execution of critical infrastructure projects in the power sector.

BHEL will play a pivotal role in manufacturing major equipment for the project at various plants across India, including Trichy, Haridwar, Hyderabad, Jhansi, Bengaluru, Ranipet, Bhopal, Rudrapur, and Varanasi. This significant undertaking contributes to BHEL's reputation as a key player in the development of power generation projects, emphasizing its commitment to the energy sector's growth and sustainability.
