The construction of the Carrefour Obala interchange on Yaoundé-Bafoussam-Babadjou road at the Obala Crossroads in the Lekié Department, Central Region of Cameroon is taking shape.
During his site visit recently, Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, the Minister of Public Works congratulated the project team led by CGCOC Group Co., Ltd. formerly known as CGC Overseas Construction Group Co., Ltd, for the work carried out so far in accordance with the guidelines and plan provided.
The Carrefour Obala interchange is a part of the first lot of the rehabilitation of the 241 km Yaoundé-Bafoussam-Babadjou road. Expected to be delivered by September 2021, this lot includes the construction of 63.75 kilometers of road connecting Ebebda Bridge to the Kalong locality, a rest stop, weighing station, and urban road planning in Obala, Monatele, Ombessa, and Bafia cities.
