Centre aid for T-Hub to make it world's largest.

The Centre has agreed to give a push to Telangana to develop the world's largest startup incubator. Currently, the status of world's largest tech incubator is held by Station F in Paris.

“We are committed to giving about ₹ 50 crore to Telangana Government to develop the world’s largest startup incubator which is expected to be bigger than the one in Paris,” said National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board Secretary H.K. Mittal.

Speaking on the sidelines of a function at T-Hub, Mr. Mittal said: “T-Hub has been created by the Telangana Government on its own. It is a successful model that has to be scaled up. Our department is willing to help Telangana both in terms of networking and finance.”

The present T-Hub is a 70,000 sft facility and the planned expansion is to scale it up to 3.5 lakh sft. In contrast, Station F in Paris, a reused railway station, is a 34,000 square metre facility.
