Chambal Fertilisers to double its capacity

Chambal Fertilisers, the largest private sector urea manufacturer in the country with a capacity of 1.73 million metric tonne (mmt), plans to double the capacity. It is planning to set up two urea manufacturing plants of 1.3 mmt each in the next few years.

The plants will entail an approximate investment of Rs 10,000 crore.
