Chambers welcome freight corridor plan.

Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry have welcomed the decision by the State government to declare the Walayar-Vallarpadam stretch of national highway an industrial freight corridor to facilitate free movement of containers headed to international container trans-shipment terminal.

A statement recently said that the Kerala Chamber had been, on behalf of the trade and industry, raising the demand for such a facility for a long time.
