Chenab Bridge to be inaugurated shortly

Muzaffargarh: Chenab Bridge will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari after May 15.

Member of National Assembly (MNA) Jamshed Ahmed Dasti said he inspected the bridge along with Project Director National Highway Authority (NHA) and found the work satisfactory.

He was told that the project would be ready by April 30. Jamshed Dasti said he had requested Asif Zardari and the Prime Minister to inaugurate the Chenab bridge, which was a mega project linking the southern part of the country to the north. He said the two leaders would also visit Muzaffargarh and announce a lucrative package for the district.
