CII draws roadmap for development of Mysore as next IT hub.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has drawn up a roadmap for the industrial development of Mysore and recommended to the Karnataka government to adopt a cluster approach.

The industry body has listed out nine key themes for the overall development of Mysore.

The CII released a detailed report on Mysore at the ongoing Partnership Summit. The broad themes outlined by the industry body for the heritage city include adoption of cluster approach for industrial development, promotion of Mysore as Karnataka’s next IT & ITeS and ESDM hub, promotion of agro processing sector and cottage industries and thrust on tourism, heritage preservation and rebranding among others.
