Former Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan is likely to invest a total of ₹1,400 crore in phases to establish a beverage (soft drinks) and confectionery unit in Badanakuppe, Chamarajanagara district, according to Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil.
