Crossword Bookstores Forecasts ₹400 Crore Revenue for Next Fiscal.

Crossword Bookstores, India's largest bookstore chain, is projecting a revenue of ₹400 crore for the next financial year, driven by a growth rate exceeding 30 per cent.

The company attributed this momentum to its ongoing expansion in metro and Tier II cities. With 120 stores across 40 cities, Crossword currently generates ₹275 crore in revenue, marking a significant rise over the past year, it said in a statement.

To further accelerate growth, Crossword plans to expand its footprint to over 150 stores by the end of 2025. The company recently launched new stores in Jamshedpur and is set to open outlets in Delhi, Chennai, Siliguri, and Hyderabad in the coming months.
