Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh – October 24, 2026: CyTac RE has proposed an investment of ₹6,415 crore to establish a 50 MW hyperscale data centre at Ganga Malanpur in Gwalior, marking a major addition to Madhya Pradesh's emerging digital infrastructure sector.
The project was announced during the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Summit 2026 in Indore, where Chief Minister Mohan Yadav issued letters of intent for land allotment to five companies proposing investments totalling ₹9,625 crore across the state.
The proposed facility is expected to support growing demand for cloud computing, artificial intelligence, enterprise data storage and other high-performance digital services.
The investment could generate significant opportunities for civil construction contractors, electrical and mechanical engineering companies, data centre equipment suppliers, cooling system manufacturers, power distribution infrastructure providers and specialised technology service companies.
The project forms part of Madhya Pradesh's broader strategy to attract investments in semiconductors, electronics manufacturing and advanced digital infrastructure.
The proposed development is expected to strengthen Gwalior's position as an emerging technology investment destination while supporting the expansion of India's data centre industry.
The project is currently at the proposed investment and land-allotment LoI stage. Construction commencement, EPC contractor selection and commissioning schedules have not yet been announced.
