Delhi government sanctions Rs. 566 crore for setting up a hospital.

Delhi government recently sanctioned Rs. 566 Crore for setting up of the 700-bed capacity Indira Gandhi Hospital in Dwarka.

The hospital would cater to the healthcare needs of around five lakhs residents living in West, North-West and adjoining districts, said Arun Baroka, Principal Secretary (PWD).

'All necessary formalities have been completed and the work is likely to start in September this year. The hospital would be ready by March, 2017. The hospital would cater to the health need of the residents of West, North-West and adjoining districts,' said Arun Baroka, Principal Secretary (PWD).
