"Dev Labtech Seeks Approval for 1300 KV Solar Project in Gujarat"
Dev Labtech Venture Limited has formally sought approval for its ambitious 1300 KV solar power project from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA). Known for its expertise in lab-grown diamonds, specifically synthetic diamonds, the company aims to bolster its production of Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) diamonds by harnessing the potential of solar energy.
Lab-grown diamonds, also referred to as synthetic diamonds, emulate the chemical and physical characteristics of naturally occurring diamonds but are artificially manufactured within laboratory settings. The proposed solar power project is poised to transform the traditionally energy-intensive process of growing CVD diamonds, offering advantages in both production efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Dev Labtech Venture Limited highlighted that by incorporating solar power, the company can access a sustainable and cost-effective energy source, thereby reducing reliance on conventional energy and mitigating the impact of fluctuating energy prices on production costs.
The Managing Director of the company expressed, "It is the best way to cut the cost of power. We will be using the power for internal purposes only. By utilizing this power, we will be cutting costs, and it will be beneficial to our company in saving power expenses." This strategic move towards renewable energy underscores the company's commitment to sustainable practices and economic efficiency in the evolving landscape of lab-grown diamond production.
